The exhibition "Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo. Woman of a New Era" ran from May 14 to October 30, 2022 and had over 25,000 visitors, demonstrating the interest that the figure and thought of Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo holds for society.
The exhibition focused on her political figure, covering her journey as the first woman to hold the office of Prime Minister (1979-1980) and candidate in the presidential elections (1986) in Portugal, but also her national and international journey linked to the construction of thought and action strategies based on the principles of care, responsibility for others and for the planet, and the defence and promotion of the active participation of women in society.
