Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo Documentary Archive

As the entity responsible for safeguarding the intellectual legacy de Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo has promoted activities to disseminate her thought, making her biography and bibliography accessible in various ways.
The work of organizing the historical documentary archive of Eng. Maria de Lourdes Ruivo da Silva Matos Pintasilgo was carried out by the Documentation and Publications Center of the Fundação Cuidar o Futuro (2004-2010), within the scope of the Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo Internet Memory Project. 54,600 documentary units were inventoried, of which 15,400 units were processed and 12,017 made available online at www.arquivopintasilgo.pt.

Supported by Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo's own testamentary declaration, the Foundation, during 2012, donated part of Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo's private documentary archive to the University of Coimbra, which ensures its preservation, conservation, cataloguing and dissemination. The donation acceptance agreement was signed in December 2014. The donated estate was integrated into the collection designated as Private Archives of Politicians do Centro de Documentação 25 de April, sob a denominação Arquivo Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo. A Fundação Cuidar o Futuro continua a acompanhar o trabalho de inventariação dos documentos desenvolvido from the University de Coimbra.
