This book, edited by Eunice Macedo e Marijke de Koning, is the result of the (re)creation of some of the communications presented at the Simpósio Internacional (Re)Inventing Leaderships: Gender, Education and Power, held in Lisbon and Porto in January 2008 within the scope of the programme  Literacy-Women-Leadership.   Works by other authors were also included for their relevance and articulation with the concerns present in this book.
