In January 2010 the Documentation and Publications Centre (CDP) of the Fundação Cuidar O Futuro (FCF) and the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) began the project of recovery, processing and organization of part of the Historical Archive of the Commission on the Status of Women, namely the documentation relating to its establishment (1974), the presidency of Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo, the International Women's Year (1975), the initiatives that arose from the World Plan of Action for the Decade of Women of the United Nations (1976-1985) and its institutionalization (1977).

The documentation, subject to digital preservation, will be made available on the Internet through the portals of the CIG and the Documentation and Publications Centre of the Fundação Cuidar o Futuro.
