Literacy, Women and Leadership   —

Workshop Literacy of Women for Leadership, with and for women who chart their own course

Dates: 16 and 17 November 2006
Location: Graalhuis (House of the Grail) Utrecht, Netherlands.

Introduction

In a world of multiple choices, it sometimes becomes difficult to chart one's own course and persist in it, especially as a woman. Who am I? What do I want to achieve in this world? These are big questions that we experience in daily life, for example when starting a new project, choosing a school for a child, or in moments of work dilemmas. Dealing well with these moments requires leadership capacity.

In this workshop Marijke de Koning and Ine van Emmerik share their knowledge and experiences about the workshop theme through their stories and those of other women.

It is not just about transmitting knowledge and experience, but about promoting the active participation of the participants, women who, based on their work and life experience, are interested in this theme, as managers, consultants, teachers, spiritual counsellors, researchers, health professionals, etc.
